The Everyday Photography of Whitney Traylor

Here are some shots I got after my recent travels to New Hampshire and Vermont.

This month’s showcase I would like to feature a great photographer and great person Ricky Rhodes. Ricky is a great all around photographer who is freelancing in the Cleveland area. Also Ricky is an Ohio University alum, which makes him 5 times more awesome in my book. After moving back to the U.S and Ohio.  I have had the great opportunity to work with Kalman & Pabst Photo Group again.  If that isn’t exciting in itself, I also made it back in time to participate in the Fine Art show. K&P has this event every two years to raise money for a charity this year’s charity was Kick-It! All 12 full-time employees participate as well as our freelance staff.  This year was a great success, raising over $5,000 for kick-it with over 1,000 people in attendance.

At the end of April we loaded up the backpacks once again and set out on a 10 day hike , this time consisting of two shorter, easier, tracks on the South Island of New Zealand.  The Heaphy Track and the Abel Tasman both are part of the 9 tracks that make up New Zealand’s Great Walks.  I have yet to go through all my photos from the travels but here are two images to hold you over!
