Some rotten shoes for the summertime fun

It’s been a while since I worked on my rotten shoe series, but I just got some prints back and was inspired to shoot some more.
As summer approaches in Northern Ohio it is the start of boating season on Lake Erie. Memorial Day weekend usually kicks it off ever year. In honor of the season this year I am posting a couple of Lake Erie pictures from last year

Here are few more images from my trip to South Carolina

Charleston, South Carolina. What a great little city. I had the pleasure for the last week to be in Charleston for work. I hadn’t been to Charleston since I was a high school junior looking at colleges. College of Charleston was one of my top picks. We had a photoshoot on Daniel Island in a beautiful home for the week, everyday I was amazed at how beautiful the home and area was. I even got lucky enough to see a baby alligator and a bald eagle. I always love cities with that small town feel, little shops, street vendors, and local restaurants. Everywhere we went and everyone we met treated our crew, which was at time was close to 30, with the most respect and hospitality you could ever ask for. I hope to be back for a vacation sometime soon. And of course I have to say the crew and clients we were with were one of the best groups to work with. Oh the memories.

As a professional photographer, actually probably a professional in any business, you’re often told; ”Do NOT work with or for your friends”. I have kind of always thought that way as well, things could get messy. Well I went against that rule and shot my good friends wedding. I have to say it was a great experience, it may of been easier than a stranger’s wedding for me. With 14 people in the bridal party I was a little nervous, but having known all of them since High School it was a blast.
Nick and Carrie said I do on April 17th 2010. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception at St. Clarence Pavilion in North Olmstead. Beach Boyz Enterntainment shot both the video and dj’d the reception. They videographers, Matt and Chelsea, were a pleasure to work with and DJ Rich had everyone dancing. It was a great night with some great friends. I wish Carrie and Nick the best.

After months of not being able to post, and months of searching for the answer. I finally figure out how to upload picture again. I was getting a error everytime I tried. Most of the forums stated you had to change the folder permissions, but that didn’t even work. I finally found one answer to change the upload storage folder to content/uploads, in the miscellaneous settings in your wordpress admin page. I wish I would of found that out months ago.
As promised the next installment from my October trip. Switzerland!
