Some Auckland Architecture

Here are two shots taken walking around the city.  They have a mix of very modern architecture as well as some more traditional.

This photo I was playing around with some cross processing techniques. What do you think?

I made it.

Well I successfully made it to Auckland, New Zealand after 20 hours of traveling.  Its a pretty beautiful city.  I hope to have lots of pictures.

Here is the city of Auckland

Color Scheme

Too bad you don’t find too much of this in the U.S.  At least not the midwest.

a little bit of that tilt shift

Just playing around with some old photos and a faux tilt shift technique.  I like the toy village look.

Traveling

Charleston, South Carolina.  What a great little city.  I had the pleasure for the last week to be in Charleston for work.  I hadn’t been to Charleston since I was a high school junior looking at colleges.  College of Charleston was one of my top picks.  We had a photoshoot on Daniel Island in a beautiful home for the week, everyday I was amazed at how beautiful the home and area was.  I even got lucky enough to see a baby alligator and a bald eagle. I always love cities with that small town feel, little shops, street vendors, and local restaurants. Everywhere we went and everyone we met treated our crew, which was at time was close to 30, with the most respect and hospitality you could ever ask for.  I hope to be back for a vacation sometime soon. And of course I have to say the crew and clients we were with were one of the best groups to work with. Oh the memories.

Rome

I hope to have a whole gallery of my images from Europe up soon, but until then here is another preview from my trip.
