The Everyday Photography of Whitney Traylor

As a professional photographer, actually probably a professional in any business, you’re often told;  ”Do NOT work with or for your friends”.  I have kind of always thought that way as well, things could get messy.  Well I went against that rule and shot my good friends wedding.  I have to say it was a great experience, it may of been easier than a stranger’s wedding for me.  With 14 people in the bridal party I was a little nervous, but having known all of them since High School it was a blast.

Nick and Carrie said I do on April 17th 2010.  It was a beautiful ceremony and reception at St. Clarence Pavilion in North Olmstead. Beach Boyz Enterntainment shot both the video and dj’d the reception.  They videographers, Matt and Chelsea, were a pleasure to work with and DJ Rich had everyone dancing.  It was a great night with some great friends.  I wish Carrie and Nick the best.

In the past two weeks or so, I have seen about 14 wild turkeys in my backyard and several deer in hanging out at my uncles in west virginia. I am not sure if I had ever seen a wild turkey before.  I was fortunate to get pretty close.  Too bad I didn’t have that long lens.
